Project to start Monday, 8/4, and is estimated to end Friday, 8/8. Potential of project extension the entire month of August. MUST be able to start Monday, 8/4. Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm. Located near DFW Airport.

Overview
The Biomedical Equipment Technician plays a critical role in the healthcare industry by ensuring that medical equipment is safe, functional, and reliable. This position involves maintaining, repairing, and calibrating a variety of medical devices used in hospitals and clinics. The technician will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality service and support for essential medical equipment.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on durable medical equipment (DME) to ensure optimal performance.
• Calibrate medical devices according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using schematics and technical manuals.
• Provide field service support, including installation and setup of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and equipment status.
• Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for technical support and guidance on complex repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and computer hardware effectively to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
