Biomedical Equipment Technician II

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team in Indiana, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment and systems. This individual will work closely with medical staff to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment and systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
• Collaborate with medical staff to address equipment issues and provide technical support
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements in biomedical technology

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
• Strong knowledge of biomedical equipment and systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass background and drug screen.
