Biomedical Equipment Technician III

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team in Indiana, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of medical equipment technology and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair a variety of biomedical equipment and systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety testing on equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements in biomedical technology

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment technology and systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification from the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) preferred
• Must pass background and drug screen
• Must have a valid driver's license.
