Biomedical Equipment Technician III (Contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of a wide range of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Bay Area, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to different healthcare facilities to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on biomedical equipment
• Install new equipment and ensure proper calibration
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Provide training and support to healthcare staff on proper equipment usage

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
• Strong knowledge of a variety of biomedical equipment and systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and travel to different locations
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
