Biomedical Engineer, Chicagoland Area

• Seeking a skilled Biomedical / Clinical Engineer
• Responsible for maintenance, repair, restoration of medical equipment
• Requires 25% travel

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Electronics, or related field preferred
  • Associate’s degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology highly desirable
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years in clinical engineering
  • Equivalent education and experience combinations considered
• Skills:
  • Proficient in biomedical equipment maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
• Technical Expertise:
  • Knowledge of electronic equipment operation, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to analyze and test electronic and electromechanical systems
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts drawings
