Description
ROLE
A Clinical Engineering Site Manager leads clinical engineering initiatives to provide superior customer service and operational efficiency by managing the execution of the ICET Program through implementation of the MEMP. This position manages operations on a day-to-day basis, collaborates and maintains positive relationships with customers, works to develop associates, and provides a communication channel between hospital leadership and ICET. The Clinical Engineering Site Manager also directs DNV/TJC inspections and ensures that ICET services are in compliance with respective regulatory standards.
RESPONSIBILITY
Always maintain a high standard of customer service and professional conduct.
Monitors, mentors and supports team.
May be over one site or multiple sites that are <$5M in revenue.
Financial management; P&L responsibility.
Narrow financial and operational business targets with a focus on tactical operations
Provide clear direction to ensure collective achievement of goals and objectives.
Creates an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication.
Identify and support development needs of direct reports and team members including connecting them to resources both internally and externally to ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
Create high levels of employee engagement by understanding organizational and personal drivers that impact drivers and developing action plans that deliver increased engagement.
Ability to manage day-to-day and long-term site operations.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
Ability to perform financial analysis and calculate budgets, revenue, and costs.
Ability to think and manage strategically
Ability to perform skilled work in the computer field performing application of systems analysis techniques and procedures regarding medical equipment
Build relationships across a diverse, and multiple customer base
Any ad hoc requests needed by leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
- Great communication, drive and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task amongst client requests, deliverables and team workload
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
REQUIREMENTS
Education Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering or Technical Field
Experience 5 years managing a clinical engineering unit; 5 years hospital BMET
Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite, Web-based CMMS, Medical Device OS
Compensation Range $60k – $85k

Ability to travel up to 50%+
FLSA Exempt or Commission Based
